Lincoln Town Car Door Problem
I have to replace the driver's door hinges, and the striker appears to be damaged; half the Teflon or rubber covering on it is gone. Would the damaged striker prevent the door from closing fully?

yes, after replacement the hinges, align the door and add a new striker
