1990 Ford F-150 Repair Question

Ford F-150 Heater Problem
My 1990 f-150 only blows cold air from the defrost regardless of the position of the selector switch on the dash. Checked heater core, seems alright, along with a few vaccum lines.

there is a main vacuum feed from under the hood to the inside. check to see if the hose is broken or disconnected. defrost is the de fault position for the air directions with no vacuum
