Truck looses power going up a slight hill, chugs and sometimes dies. Runs good when not in gear, under labor runs bad. Oil seems to be coming out of the dipstick tube. Not from where it goes in the block but from the top of the tube.

If you are getting oil from the dipstick tube, you need to check engine compression. It sounds like the rings are worn in the engine and creating a lot of blow-by. Keep in mind, with 98K on the truck, this shouldn't be an issue.

You only answered half the question. How about the running bad losing power problem?
