Brake warning light stays on, but is dim.

K1500 rwal brakes. Replaced the drums (adjusted the brakes as best as can), and right rear ebrake cable. Warning light is on bright when ebrake is applied and stays on dim when ebrake is released. Master cylinder is full and no sign of leak. Light was not on prior to doing above work. Any help if diagnosing and repairing problem will be appreciated.

Thank you,
Bill

if the brake light is on , have it scanned for abs codes and checked for a hydraulic problem

Seems a fault with the ABS system is causing this.

Check the wheel sensors.

Thank you for your help-problem was the combination valve needed to be centered and light reset.
