Chevrolet Silverado Egr valve Problem
I just bought a used truck and when i got on the freeway my check engine light came on. I took it to autozone and they said it was an egr valve. i replaced the egr valve and it hasnt changed. the truck sputters at high speeds after it has warmed up. I noticed that it is missing a catalytic converter. could this be my problem?

autozone employs parts salesman not techs.
