Buick Riviera Engine Problem

My car likes to stall out and die after going about 2 miles. At the 2 mile mark, it will jump a little, the RPM's will go to zero, cruise for a few feet, then die. I will try to start, but the engine just rolls. If I wait for about 9 or 10 minutes I can get it to start, but it will die immediately after. I have no idea what do to about it anymore. Please help???

1st thing to do here is check the fuel pressure, fuel pump could be on its way out-failing
