1989 Toyota Corolla Repair Question

Toyota Corolla Fuse Problem

Changed water pump. Car wont start.. I arcd out alt hot wire. Would that cause it not to crank over. Battery and starter are new. Ran fine till then.

Yes, you may have blown one of the main fuses in the power distribution box.

is that the box connected to pos term on battery

Yes, it should have a lead to the battery.

There is a box connected to the terminal with a 30 and 80 amp fuse in it. Tried to get them out . Couldn't. It has ami/30 and 80

They may be bolted in.

They are. Have an ohm meter. How can they be tested without unbolting them?

If you can access both terminals, test for power on both of them.

To mean both sides of the fuse.

1 I can see has a connection in the fuse itself. The other looks like the the hairlike connection is gone?
