My car is shaking and the engine light came on.2 weeks ago i put a high gas in the car 91.i always put in 87 or 89. please help.

What you need to do is have the computer scanned to identify what is causing the engine to misfire and the light to come on. To do this, do the following:
Cycle the ignition switch from off to the run position three times (DO NOT START ENGINE).
Sit for a few seconds and the check engine light should begin to flash. You need to count the flashes.
Each code will be a 2 digit number. The light will flash, slight pause, then flash again. Count the flashes to get the code.
Once you get the codes, let me know what it is so I can direct you.
