Nissan Sentra Ignition switch Problem
When I turn the key off on my 1989 Nissan Sentra it keeps running.
Original issue was that wehn you turned the key to the on position lots of noises heater seatbelt alarm etc. and when I tried to start it just was completely silent and would not start.
I changed the ignition switch and put in a new battery - now the car will start but will not shut off

Check the ignition switch installation. Ensure the steering lock tab for activating the ignition switch is not worn off or loose.
