Could be the starter, starter relay, clutch switch and ignition switch assuming the battery condition and connections are good.

Battery and connections are good. Yesterday while driving the engine died and the radio went off! Still had lights and turn signals. Coasted home and looked under the dash and saw two relays. I tapped each and messed with the wiring to the steering column. The truck started and has started 5 or 6 times today, no problem. Would the start relay do this?
