1989 Mazda b2200 • 151,000 miles

I HAVE A MAZDA(89) b2200, 2.2motor that did a head job on.I have set the bottom tdc mark, piston is up, dist. Pointed at no 1. My question is the position of the cam. The cam gear will go in any of four positions, what should I do to to put cam in right place. Tim, thanks your help is appreciated. Tmorgan140@aol. Com

Roy, Help! Mazda is still looseing water and running hot.I have replaced water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses. The head work was done at a cylinder head service center. Truck runs great but gets hot within 6 miles. Going to go get a comp checker and ckeck each cylinder today Tim

Checked comp. Very low, 68psi#1, 58#2, 60#3&4. Dont think they pressure checked it cause I had to wait when I picked it up. They weren't done with it. Checked comp. With plugs in and out, no dif. Tim
