4x4 not engaging
1989 Isuzu Trooper four wheel drive not engaging. The indicator light comes on but the front wheels do not engage. the rig recently had a transmission replaced

Take it back to shop that replaced trans and have them repair (if it was working before trans replacement).

I bought it from a private owner and he is out of town for a while. I'm just wondering if this is a simple fix due to him not hooking somehting up when he replaced the tranny
