My truck has been having electrical problems. Driving at 60 MPH it just shuts down for no reason. Then starts running again and backfires.

***********WATCH OUT FOR THEM PESKY MOVING PARTS!

LOOK AROUND METAL AND HOT SURFACES FOR A WIRE TOUCHING OR CHAFING INTERMITTENTLYSTAND TO THE SIDE AND HAVE SOMEONE HOLD THE BRAKE AND PUT IT IN GEAR (SEE WHICH WAY THE ENGINE TORQUES AND WHAT MOVES ALONG WITH IT

SEE IF CONNECTIONS ARE TIGHT

CRANK HIM UP---PUT HIM IN PARK SHAKE/PUSH/ PULL/ WIGGLE/ WINDMILL EVERY WIRE YOU CAN FIND, ESPECIALLY NEAR IGNITION COMPONENTS. NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHICH WAY IT TORQUES THIS MAY AID IN WHAT TO PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO

DURING THE SHAKING---IF IT CUTS OFF. YOU ARE REALLY CLOSE!
