FORD F-150 AUTO PARTS PROBLEM

1989 Ford F-150 • 80,000 miles

I've an 89' F-150/302ci/5speed. Have replaced plugs, wires, distributor, ignition module among other parts. It'll crank and run as good as one could ask, once getting on up to temp it'll miss, backfire and die. I've chased fuel and fire, i'm leaning on fire however. No sign when it's coming, no "check engine" light? Any ideas?

I don'th ave that info but normally it ranges 600-800 ohms. Butyou could alsways check against a new one at an auto parts store.
