1989 Ford F 150 F150 8cyl 4x4 Engine Bad Cylinder Also 1986 Bronco 6 Cyl

I have a 1989 Ford F150, 8cyl., 4x4. The engine has a bad cylinder. I also have a 1986 Ford Bronco, 6 cyl., 4x4 with a bad tranny. My question....

Can I place the 6 cyl. engine from the Bronco into the F150? Is it going to require some outlandish mechanical magic tricks - or is it a straight forward switch?
