Removing the back seat

I just bought this car. It was a repo and it is obvious the owner did not take care of it. When I was cleaning out the trunk I found rusty nails, change, rock pebbles etc. I hopped in the trunk to make sure I got everything and when I looked in the back on each side above the rear tires there are rock pebbles, trash, and debris stuck in the creases of the body I cannot reach. It is driving me crazy knowing I cannot get them out. Would removing the back seat or a panel help me access it so I can remove them?

Hello,

Yes, to remove the rear seat pull upward on the bottom cushion this will release the clips that hold it in please. Then there will be two bolts at the bottom of the upper half, remove those and lift up. This will allow you to remove the upper part of the seat so you can get it cleaned out.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Thanks a lot Ken! This will allow me to access the creases in the trunk above the tires too, correct?

It should. There might be a brace behind the seat that you should be able to work around.
