New exhaust pipes, new catalytic converters(2) went to inspection for emissions test.Failed hydrocarbons and Canon monoxides. Mechanic checked motor and can't understand why it didn't pass. Thanks for some help?

first you need a new mechanic

could be a bad o2 sensor, plugs worn out, oil contaminated with fuel.


it will have to be examined by someone who has knowledge of the gases.
