I have a 454 tbi in my k3500 and I was driving and it died I thought it was out of gas so got it to a near by fuel station and put fuel in and still wouldn't start, had it towed home. I began lookin and decided to replace the spark plugs+wires, I also redid the negative battery terminal wire due to the bad wire, and replaced the computer due to the computer throwin check engine codes and no codes were displayed, nothing. It had a weak attempt to start at the fuel station now it's much stronger. And a new deep cycle battery, so tested spark zapped the block, saw the fuel from injectors still no start, I'm stumped. It looked like the auto choke? Wasn't working but not sure if that what it was, I'm more of a carb guy, any help?

Put fuel in throttle body and see if it cranks if no recheck the firing order. The wires are crossed somewhere. You need to check the fuel pressure also.

Have helper crank engine over, while you look at the injectors if its pulsing, as suggested check the F/O, if it starts and dies check the oil pressure sending unit-
