1989 Chevrolet S-10 Repair Question

Chevrolet S-10 Clutch Problem
The clutch pedal assembly on inside of cab has come apart bought garmet that goes between the two rods but as the clutch is pressed it comes apart from the garmet that is on one side that has like teeth on one side to hold it to the rod it looks like it is suppose to have something that holds it to the other rod but canot find out what can you advise
does it need a clip pin or something to hold it on

There is suppose to be a retaining clip and a clevis pin on the end
