I have a 1989 Chevy 2500 that will crank, has compression, and spark, but it will not start. I believe it is a fuel problem, but how can I tell where the problem is - in the fuel pump, or the sending unit, or elsewhere

It started 2 days ago, but when i went to restart it a minute later, it would not start.

Check to see if there is fuel pressure to the engine. For directions, go to our homepage under the DIY section. There are detailed instructions and a video to show how to do it.

Hi Jimmy,

What do you mean by probag? Also, is this the same year, make, and model as listed above? Also, let me know what engine is in the vehicle.

If you haven't already, check to see if there are codes stored that may point us in the right direction. Follow the link below.

Let me know as much as possible.

Take care and I'll watch for your reply.
