Hi I have a 1989 chevy camaro with a v6 2.8l multi port f1 engine. My rpm gauge is bouncing all the time. As soon as I start up while driving when I stop it's always bouncing. At 50 mph the car starts to shake idk if that's related to it or not but it happens until I put more speed on it. Also while driving today I reached 30 mph then the rpm gauge rose up but the speed started to drop it's like my transmission went out until I put it in neutral then back to drive and I speed up again.I don't know what to do please help

Scan for codes, check trans fluid and check for a vacuum leak.

Ok I just put new transmission fluid in and it ran perfect again now my problem progressed.I went to work today and on a delivery run my car just shut off I mean no warning no power loss it just shut off.I've had it running since 10 am and been driving all day till around 830 pm when it shut off. What happened did the transmission lock since I put new fluid in?I've been turning off and on a lot today as well with my job so did the starter mess up.I'm at a lose again. The engine cranks like normal as if it was going to start everything turns and sounds the same as it was since I bought it but it just won't start. Please help
