Where is the nurser switch on a 1989 Camero located? Any ideas as to what I'am doing wrong?

I have changed the steering colum but I put the key switch out of the old colum in the new one and know it wont crank over. But the turn signal work and the lighs work but I don't hear the fuel pump coming on. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?

Make sure the connector on the ignition switch are good and tight

If you're talking about inertia switch it doesn't come with it-Double check the ignition switch as suggested if okay-check the fuel pump relay

Check for start signal is being sent from the ingition switch whyll the key is in start poss. If yes check for it at the starter.
