1989 Acura Legend lifters

I would like to know if a lifter locks does this mean it's bad. This is after I push down on the plunger and bleed it. Then it locks. These are the original lifters in this 1989 legend. Shall I just replace all of them?

What is your original concern that had you checking the lash adjusters are they noisy?

I'm rebuilding the heads, for the first time and was bleeding them according to the instructions I have and some of them lock and some have compression. Are the locked one dirty or bad can they be cleaned?

I find recoing lash adjusters don't work that well, price up a set of new, they should not be that expensive.
