Subaru GL Transmission Problem
Will the engine from a 1986 subaru 1.8 with manual transmission fit in a 1988 subaru 1.8 with automatic transmission?

it should but the pilot bushing has to be removed from the rear of the crank and the remaining hole has to be the same size as your motors. the crank may be different
