Hello it's me again: 1988 Delta 88. Idling the car runs great! But when I go to accelerate the car will choke off. I check the plugs and wires and they are fine. What could be my problem? And how to I fix it? Thank you!

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure first.

Hello again: I'm still having trouble with my car. The motor will turn over but not start. When I turn the switch on I hear the fuel pump engaging. But the car doesn't start. I checked all relays and fuses and they are good. Should I change the fuel regulator or the fuel pump? P.S. I did notice after trying to start the car a few times I did smell a faint hint of gas/fuel. Should that be a concern?

Thank you!

I've given you info on what to do with no reply as to what the codes or specs are as far as fuel pumpressure. Evidently you don't understand so have a pro look at it where it can be diagnosed properly
