Nissan Navara Clutch Problem

Truck starts and will run fine, but intermittently wont idle. This conditions changes by the minute. One moment it runs and idles fine, then put the clutch in for braking, etc and engine dies. Has had carb rebuild. Mechanic thinks it has s/g to do with idle stop solenoid and has disabled it. currently looking for a replacement solenoid. Any other ideas to consider?

You cannot disable the fuel cut solenoid if I guess it correct. Intermittent stalling during idle could be due to vacuum leaks, valve clearances out of specs, worn throttle shaft, air fuel mixture out of adjustment.
