Eventually run the battery dead. I replaced the lock cylinder and tried a new ignition starter switch. I removed the starter solenoid wires. There are two wires that when touched to the positive wire make clicking noises on the drivers side fender. Any suggestions would be great.

The fuel pump relay is shorted and will need to be replaced. What lights are staying lit in the head?

The indicator lights to the left of the steering column. Would the fuel pump relay account for the clicking noises on the left fender?

Yes, the relay will click. You will need to follow the clicking while someone makes it click! What do the lights indicate?
