1988 Isuzu Pickup truck fuel tank/float

I have a 1988 Isuzu pickup truck. Ive been having trouble with it missing etc. So I noticed the fuel filter was filled with rust, ive taken the gas tank off and poured the rusty gas out, inside it(tank)is also rusty, What can I use to pour into it to clean the rust out. And secondly where can I buy the float that goes in it? Orileys auto parts says they cant get it?

I dont know of any rust remover for that purpose but you may be able to have tank coated at a tank renew place? And what's wrong with your float? Any float should work if you can rig/adapt it.
