Carburetted or fuel injected?
Are you able to keep engine running with throttle pressure?

Yes it runs if I keep it at about 1/4 throtte, and it an auto.I think it either the carburator or the pressure plate. Between the intake and the carb. Can anyone tell me the best. Way to swap out the carburator without screwing up tje vacume lina or even bett I would likwe to eleminate the whole vacuum system?

The idling speed is too low and it could be due to improper adjustment. Vacuum leaks can cause that as well and replacing the carburettor do not necessarily mean the problem would be resolved.

You should start with the basics, try adjustments and check the fuel cut solenoid operations.
