1988 Dodge Ram Just Replaced Fuel Pump Relay Truck Still Want Start Gatting

I just replaced the fuel pump and the fuel relay and the truck still want start up, its still not gatting any gas to the carburator, but will hit or fire when i put gas in the carb. What next? THANKS!
