engine is overheating when going up hills

1988 camaro 5l v8. thank you kind sirs for the reply on my camaro overheating. Here's whats been done on flat & traffic no heating problem :heat gauge stays @ quarter on dial. when under harder acceleration mostly uphills the heat gauge climbs higher sometimes into the red. HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE

Clarify please, what is the problem? Overheating? Please list all humanly possible parts installed and flush treatments. Also has it been pressure tested, or block tested?

yes overheating only under hard acceleration & all tests been carried out heads skim tested,new water pump,radiator ,oil cooler outside of radiator,hoses,sensors,new (thermostat&housing) fitted & removed(better).aircon& heater pipes disconnected

Checked the cooling fan? If its a clutch type, the bi-metalic spring could be no good causing the fan to create more drag than needed. I ask about the fan because you have not told me the model year?
