Was wanting to know if I could replace a factor steel rim sive 14x5.5 with one that says 14x6. What would be the problem?

With just a half inch in width, there may not be a problem. There also are other things to consider that could cause issue. One is rim offset, basically where the center of the wheel is. Too deep and you could stress suspension components and create handling problems, too shallow and you could create contact issues with the strut, or wheelhouse on turns. You would have to mount it up and check fit and clearance.
