How do i get rid of brown water

I have brown water in the water tank of my 88 buick electra and my car will not start!

If there is brown water in your coolant resovior tank then what you should do is look for a drain plug under your radiator and drain out all the coolant and replace it with new coolant. If it really concerns you, you may also visit your local mechanic shop and have a coolant flush done as well. Ultimately this will not cause your vehicle to not start as it cools the engine and has nothing to do with ignition. If you could list the other symtoms that would be great to learn more about what the vehicles doing.

Check for spark and fuel to the engine for the no start situation.
