The heat blows out cold from under dash

I have a 1987 olds 98 regency changed thermostat, but it is still blowing cold, what would be making that happen,
blower motor is working fine, heater hoses are hot when running, when I set it to heater, instead of blowing out the vents on the dash, the cold air is blowing out under the dash (floor)

Check vent door actuators. Also, check the blend door. It is responsible for the amount of heat you get in the vehicle.

Thank you, that was kind of what I was thinking, so that would also make it blow cold instead of hot too?

Yes. If the blend door isn't opening, no heat can pass over the heater core.

Not hard to fix, but a pain to get to. Limited space.

I can not find any where that tells me exactly where to find the blend door, can you tell me exactly where it is located?

It is near the heater core in the HVAC box.

Would I get to it from inside the car in the dash or under the black plastic cover under the hood?
