Jeep Comanche Transmission Problem
At stuck in park,shifter moves, linkage moves,but transmission does not change gears

Gotta crawl underneath and watch the linkage move while a helper works the shift lever. Most likely suspect is a ball and socket popped apart. Also look at the linkage pivot points to see if a bracket is rusted off. It is very uncommon to have this kind of problem caused by something inside the transmission.
