The car will start when jumped. But as soon as you turn it off it won't even turn over. The battery is good. (tested twice) The alternator is good.(tested as well) We have spark and fuel. Could it be the starter? Obviously it works to a certain extant. The other thing I thought it might be is the module in the distributor. I've had a number of hondas and have had these go out. Is there a way to test that?

If the starter is not cranking and does so only with a jump start, it is a fault with the battery or its connections.

When jump starting if you had use the jumper to clip onto the battery terminals, then I would say the battery is bad or its connections is not secure or dirty.

Clean the battery terminals and retighten to test.

How was the battery tested?
Was the high rate discharge tested?
