Ford Tempo Gas Problem
My 87 ford tempo starts up fine and idles fine but, when you drive it 2-5 miles it has no power.When you step on the gas pedal it bogs down and wants to die and will barley do 30 mph.Checked for codes and got map sensor out of range and idle control motor out of range. Help

The MAP can cause what you described. The idle air control is what keeps the vehicle at an idle.
