Truck will starts every time untill recently- lately runs, drives, fine until last week. now kills at stops or while running truck turns over but will not start untill 2-6-10 min. had problem appox 3-4 yrs ago. stalled and would not start. a friend said change sensor on distributor. had towed to mech. he chg'd sensor but thinks it was on o/side of distr.. spoke with napa sales they said pick-up sensor in distr. took it appart can see pick-up piece - went to ford see the piece to be replaced but can't figure out how to chg it out --- can't find how to on internet --- don't want to take a chance on breaking anything . i see part on ford half moon circle 3 wires coming from under with plugin clip and rotor bar-and plasticap clip under rotor/distr. shaft --- how to get it off and back on --- no photo's avail. truck has appox. 478,000 + org. miles all orginial except gen. repairs thanks mike m. c- 504-430-4556 e-deemcguire@att.net
