After occasionally smelling gas, noticed the fuel pump was leaking. Changed the pump and the filter. Car starts fine. Idles fine and initially drives fine.

Noticed gasoline leaking from fuel pump. Changed fuel pump and filter. Car cranks up and idles fine. However when at a stoplight I depress the gas pedal to go and the engine "choke" as if it getting too much gas. Press too hard and the car will stall. Lightly tapping the gas pedal I can pick up speed but by then I'm at another red-light. Makes rush hour traffic fun.
