Chevrolet Camaro Engine Problem
1987 Camaro 5.7 IROC Z. A couple issues so will post them separately. I drive this vehicle less than 400 miles per year so it sits most of the time.
I previously asked about pressure in fuel tank and boiling gasoline.
Second question. Car starts good, runs fine, but once engine is warmed up, not all the time but sporadically and often, usually every time I drive it, at an idle at a stop light suddenly the engine starts to run terrible and if I don't pull it out of gear and increase rpm it will usually kill. This is accompanied by the terrible sulfur, rotten egg, smell I've read about here. I never get a check engine light.
Do you think this is related at all to the other issue of pressure in the gas tank etc?
Your help will be appreciated.

The smell sounds like the catalytic converter is plugging. Check that.
