1986 Pontiac 6000 mileage: 130,000. I was coming home last night and the car died. I try to start it and it turned over but did not start. I pulled home this morning and found that I had a leak at my thermostat housing. Is there a computer shut down on this and how do I reset it the car? Turns over good but won't start.

The computer should not shut down because of a coolant leak. Your car is equipped with a computer controlled engine management system. An independent auto service center can scan your computer for fault or error codes. There are scanners that you can use to do the same thing. We recommend the the pocket scanners The information should pinpoint the malfunctioning components.
