Blows fuse that goes to coil

Truck runs fine if you unplug 2 wire connector from altenator. When pluged back in, 2 seconds later it blows fuse. Is it probably a short? If so where do I start looking?

It looks like you have a short in the alternator. Have a shop verify it.

Put a new alternator, new ignition switch and new voltage regulator and still have same problem

Nned to examine the wiring. One of them may be shorted to ground against something metal.
