I had the water pump, timing belt , valve cover gskt and serpentine belt replaced on my 1986 honda civic . There was an immediate slow leak coming from right under the plastic water pump cover on the bottom.
They say this has nothing to do with their work and won't fix it.
there may be a leak on the gasket cover and they say the oil leak is probably the crank shaft or something.
I was told they should have replaced the oil pump, and cams and checked the 'cvc' valve or something.
I don'tknow if i should try and get my money back, or just walk away.
What do you think I should do, and is the oil leak a bad thing? It is just a really slow drip.

Try using an oil stop leak and see if it'll seal it-if not you have to fix the leak-sooner or later the leak is gonna get worst-

you are claiming there was no drip before they worked on it? anyway, besides oil stop leak add some lucas oil stabilizer. i have cured smal leaks with this stuff that were not pressure leaks. you could take them to court but that would probably require you get oil leak fixed by someone else and have them verify the negligence of the other shop. or just rant at those guys till they give in and fix it or give you some monetary compensation!
