1986 Chevrolet Corsica Repair Question

1986 Chevy Corsica loses power going up hill will shift down and pick up power when it bogs down to 40mph. Any ideas?
Going up hill it will kick into lower gear when speed is reduced to 40mph and will shift down and pick up power when it bogs down to 40mph. Replace spark plugs and wires and coil packs. Any ideas?
