My 1985 Toyota 4x4 Hulix will not start. New battery, the Emergency flashers word, but nothing else. Where to start 1st.
We just rescued this truck from a farm. It ran when it was parked in a barn about 6 years ago. It has sat since.

If you have not drained the gas tank and replaced the gas, do so. It is no longer gas but more of a varnish. It may have cloged the fuel filter, if so equipped, and cause other issues.
Check for spark, make sure the air way to the intake is clear and when you turn the motor over see if the plugs get wet with fuel. If they don't then you are not getting any fuel and need to find what is clogging the system.
