1985 Nissan 300zx Would Cause Power Antenna Draw Battery Ignition Switch Radio

What would cause the power antenna to draw power from the battery when the ignition switch and radio are both off?

Corroded or shorted switch inside the antenna. It only gets a turn-on signal from the ignition switch through the radio. A different power source runs the motor so it can run it when the ignition switch is off.
