I bought this truck 3rd hand and I'm told it's on its second engine, 351w.

Why is my 1985 f250 running sluggish? It's not as bad in 1st-3rd but in 4th it won't hardly get over 45 or 50 mph and seems like it's flooding out or bogging down. I've changed fuel filter, plugs,wires,distributor cap, and used carb cleaner
