It has sat for 10 years in a garage. I sometimes have to put the choke on.
I have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter. Could there be rust in the gas tank?

There could be. Check the fuel pressure to make sure it is within spec. What I would suggest is this. When it dies and you have to wait a few seconds to restart, check to see if there is spark to the plugs and check fuel pump pressure. One will be missing. That way you will know if you need to recheck the fuel system, or if there is a problem with the ignition. Thats a great old car. I hope you get it fixed. Let me know if you have other questions.
