What cause a loss of power in a delta 88 ( 307 ) 1984

I had It run so rich it would stall all the time and while driving. I replace the carburator and it fix the stalling but I only got 70 % of the power back. I got a new coil for the distributer and Everything seam to be working. I lose all power half way to the second gear. It doesn't consume as much gas but i want to get that motor back to what it should be Can you please guide me. I can't find any one to help me with that.

cross A& B on teh aldl and read any codes that come up with teh flashing light. come back here to the site and look under OBD1 to see. then check where your timing is and check for a slipped timing chain
