1984 Gmc S15 84 Pickup 28l Motor Swap 31l Cavalier Motor Easily Other Options

I have an 84 GMC pickup with a 2.8L motor. can i swap it for a 3.1L cavalier motor easily? or what other motor swap options do I have for this vehicle? I need to do a motor swap one way or another.

We only recommend direct fit parts. For this change, everything needs changed including computer, wiring harness, vacuum harness, all mounts, and I don't think it will bolt to the trans.
